Pretty sure I’ve never seen one of these before. Factory color? Seems like a nice price if you’re in the market for one, $3k.
Good thing I’m already semi-committed to a WJ...

That’s close enough that I kind of want it.

Grab it so I can see photos of it on a regular basis! I love teal.

That’s not a factory color on NAs. The closest IMO was Laguna Blue, which is much darker, more saturated, and not teal.
There’s also Crystal Blue Mica, which appeared on NB2s — I think this particular NA got resprayed in that color.

Not a factory color for 1992, but it l ooks close to 2001- 2002 NB Crys ta l Blue Metallic.

I think onlytwowheels is closer with the Crystal Blue Metallic.

Mica, metallic, I get them mixed up. Same color.

Lol at "top needs to be replaced: 175 on amazon". Yeah, for something that makes you reuse the factory rain rail, which will break. Also, two days of labor for one person. Two miserable days.

Huh, they look different to me, but lighting will do that. And age. (Mine and the paint.)

I rather suspected that was a bit too casual for the real level of pain involved.

iknorite? I’d probably grab it under different circumstances, although I just noticed the rebuilt title.

A pro level job is 400 for the top and another 400 in labor. Having done one, I could another in a day. But one your own, first time? Two days of suck.

Yeah, different cameras/software will mess up colors too
.

That’s probably not a factory color but there were a couple teals.
NA sparkle green metallic
NB splash green mica

Non-factory color. That said, besides all the teals already listed, there were two similar “color test” cars built in 1991:
Teal Green Metallic.
Light Green Metallic.
2nd on left and the one on the far-right. This is the teal green NA:
The l ight green Miata disappeared off the face of the earth AFAIK.

Man, this photo should make any auto enthusiast’s heart skip a beat.

If you still kind of want one, I just listed mine for sale. The price I put is ambitious. Take like $600 off and it’s what I’m into it. $2400.

I’m going to behave myself. I really need both vehicles to be practical, or at least more practical than a Miata.
I appreciate you placing temptation into my path, though. Can you share a link?
